ok, so he totally beat me to mentioning this, but alas, not posting it. i happened to chance upon the cheerios commercial yesterday (as well as seemingly everyone who has listened to this song on youtube) and was immediately struck by the familiarity of the song. similarly, it took me a while of humming to remember who the original was and i was so pleased when i did. i have to say though, this does not nearly have the power of the commercial. damn commercials and the good music in them nowadays. i also keep hearing that mcmini song for mcdonald’s which is quite pretty as well. yeesh.
